This premier event will see New Zealand’s best surf lifesavers compete across various disciplines, from surf swims and ski paddling to beach sprints and ironman races. What to Expect at the 2025 AON Surf Life Saving Nationals
Held at Midway Beach, one of Gisborne’s top surf spots, the AON Nationals is the pinnacle of surf lifesaving in New Zealand. The event will feature individual and team-based competitions, testing the strength, endurance, and skills of competitors in both ocean and sand events. Expect action-packed racing, thrilling finishes, and a great showcase of the surf lifesaving community’s dedication. Boats, canoes, board, ski, swim, run, rescues and more.
